Betreff: A very big thank you!

Dear Johanna, Maximilien, Sigrid, Stephanie and of course Ingomar (Paddy Ingo),

On behalf of myself and my beautiful wife Loraine, I want to extend our heart felt thanks to all of you for making our wedding the most special day of both our lives. We cannot say enough about your Hotel and the hospitality you extended to us and our party in the build up to our Wedding and in the days after our Wedding (18th September 2009), until we left The Gruner Baum.

When we arrived on the Tuesday evening, our room was ready and waiting for us. we didn’t know what to expect. The following morning we woke up to the most wonderful, breathtaking view and we knew immediately that we had made the right choice for our wedding venue. Johanna sat down and explained everything to us and helped us in everyway possible and ensured that everything ran smoothly. On the Wednesday evening when our party arrived, Sigrid and Maximilen made sure that all of the rooms were ready and everything ran smoothly. Even the food organised for the party arriving late was great. Unfortunately, for Ingomar his bar got very, very busy and stayed that way until we went home! But he did a great job and everyone in our party loved him. On Thursday, we had our blessing and it was just the most magical thing ever. It was just like a fairytale. Again, Johanna was great in arranging that. The rest of the party arrived on Thursday evening and fell in love with the hotel immediately!

On Friday, it was the big day. From the Fire Engine to the Wedding car, the church to the flowers, the champagne at the waterfall to our celebration on the terrace, our beautiful dinner to the wish lanterns, our DJ and dancing and of course yet another sing song! All of you worked individually and together to make it the most memorable occasion. Johanna was even outside the Church pinning the flowers on to all of the Gentlemen and making sure that they were dressed correctly and helping the Bride to look even more beautiful than she already did. Words cannot do justice to the way we feel - thank you, thank you, thank you!
You have created a fan club of 63 members of the Gruner Baum in Ireland, England and Scotland. You have got two extra Sales people in Ireland because everyone that Loraine and I speak to about our wedding, wants to go to the Gruner Baum. We feel like we have made friends with the Blumschein family and as a result, will just have to go back to visit!!! We would have no problem in recommending your Hotel as a wedding venue and Sam as a wedding co-ordinator to anyone at any time.

Thank you so much again for everything and until we are back in the Gruner Baum, we wish you well.

Go raibh mile maith agat (A thousand thank you’s in Irish)

Kindest Regards,

Jason and Loraine Doyle.

Betreff: Café Hubertus

Sigrid,

I am sending a email from my walk to Café Hubertus. Nothing against Café Gamskar, but for the past 20 years I have only gone to Café Hubertus. Why?

1) it has a beautiful old character, 2) I very much like the lady and her sense of humor, 3) the terrace has an unobstructed view, left to Bad Gastein, Stubnerkogel, and right to Bad Hofgastein, 4 ) many people drive to Café Gamskar so I fiqure those people are not so calm and quiet verses those who walk to Café Hubertus, which is only 10 minutes past Café Gamskar.

When the weather does not allow, or the guests are ( with all respect ) a bit out of shape for a serious walk ), a walk to Café Hubertus is perfect. The have a great menu, which includes all classic dishes, and her homemade Topfenstrudel, and Apfelstrudel is out of this world.

Larry
